Step-By-Step Creative Process

Brand and Beyond is not a one-and-done service.  With your expertise in your business and our experience in visual design, web and digital marketing strategy we become a team to develop and maintain your brand online.

Yes, we know that teaming up with us is one of the first decisions you will have to make for your business and we really value your confidence in us.  That’s why we offer transparency, guidance and clear communication every step of the project that we will collaborate together.

To start, we want to make sure that before you book, you have a clear understanding of the creative process, schedule, deadlines, pricing and expectations that’s why we highly encourage that we make the complimentary consultation call to help you get you out of the fence.

Brand and Beyond limits its clients per month.  This is to make sure we are giving the right time and quality for each unique projects.  We do encourage you to book a month in advance.  This will also give you enough time to research, gather and create content for our project.  In this way you can just relax and enjoy the creative process.

Aside from delivering intuitive and functional designs for you, we want to give you a finish product that you can work with and maintain as you grow your business.  Consider us as your creative director or branding officer for your business.  As we go along, feel free to share with us your questions and ideas about your brand.

Step 1 - Complimentary Design Consult

Visual branding and web design is not a one size fits all industry.  It is important that you find the right kind of designer for you. To make sure that we are right fit for your business we first sit down on a video call to meet and talk about your design needs and expectations.  We will also discuss on this call any questions that you may have about collaborating with us.

After the meeting, we will send you a proposal with timeline, pricing and terms of payment.  If everything is okay with you, you will sign the proposal and send a copy to us.  We will then send a booking invoice via Paypal.

Step 2 - Creative and Strategy Session

After you book, we will meet again for a creative and strategy session where we will discuss action items and ideas for your project.  We will also talk about further specification about your business such as objectives, target market and more details about your business that could be helpful for us to produce an accurate design.

By the end of our discussion, you will know exactly what needs to be done on your part and ours and our agreed timeline.

Step 3 - Research, Data Gathering and Content Development

Content and brand details are integral part of the design process.  We can create a more accurate and effective design for you if the content and information are all available.  While Brand and Beyond offers visual branding and web design services only, we will provide a way for you to help you organize your content and brand details.

Step 4 - Design

We will then collect the details and content from you.  By now, you can already relax and enjoy the design process.  We will now create a sitemap (Page/Menu Hierarchy) and we will design a homepage and a subpage (or more upon your request) for approval.

For visual branding and logo design projects, this is the sacred time for us create a design base on creative brief and brand information you have provided us.

Step 5 - Edits and Revisions
Visual branding and logo design projects will receive 2-3 design options.  We will then meet via video call to discuss your chosen design and style and give more feedback.  This step may take 2-3 rounds of revisions and adjustments to finalize the deliverables

As for web design projects, once the site is ready for final review, you’ll be able to review each page and we can make detailed edits until the site is revised completely. We ask that you please review all pages to make sure all spelling, grammar, addresses and information are correct before going live.

Step 6 - Going Live and Final Delivery
If all looks good to you we will then make your website live and/or deliver the visual branding files and website pieces via Google drive.

For Philippines base clients, you will receive USB files of your files in order for you to have a safe and secure version for your own records.

Step 7 - Moving Forward
After your website goes live, you will receive a moving forward page to help you educate and empower you about your new website and new brand.  Upon request, we can also schedule a one on one teaching session on how to use and maintain your website.

What theme are you using?

We are using Divi theme. Divi is the most customizable and trend adaptive theme in the market. This gives us confidence that our clients will be able to manage and grow their website in the long run.

What if I want something these packages don’t include?

The packages here in our website are base packages that we offer but please don’t hesitate to let us know your ideal and dream logo and website during the design consult so that we can build a unique package for you and your needs.

When can you start on my project?

You will receive a proposal with timeline. Once we received your signed proposal and the 1st installement of the payment, we can proceed to the next steps of our creative process.

If you are asking when can we start designing for you, creative strategy session, data gathering and content developemt are one of the foundations of a good design. We don’t really want you to skip these steps and we highly encourage that you take as much time as possible relaying to us what are your expectations on the projects and curating contents for your website.

What is your payment process?

Visual Branding and Logo Design projects are broken down into two installments. 50% upfront upon booking, and 50% upon project completion. All Website Design projects are broken down into three installments. ⅓ upfront upon booking, ⅓ by the start date of your project, and ⅓ at the end of the project, just before launch.

All payments will be done through Paypal.

Do you offer à la carte website design services?
We offer à la carte design services to our past clients collaborate again and again as your design needs change and grow.

How many design revisions do I get?

Each packages includes a set number of design revisions per deliverables and it will be indicated on the project’s proposal.

But, if you find that you need more revisions, that is 100% ok. Any revisions beyond your package’s included amount are billed at our hourly rate of $15/hr until you are in love with your final designs.

Website projects have unlimited content edits (wording on your website) until a set date (which will be included in your project’s proposal) so that you are as confident as possible before launch.

What is expected of me as a client?

We expect our clients to invest ample time for the project during content developement, feedback and approval phases.

What happens after we’re done? What’s next?

We love to extend our relationships with our clients. We will always be here for extended support or special projects as needed.

How do I get in touch with you during our project?

During our project, you’ll have unlimited email to us so that you can get in touch with us whenever you need during our open business hours. We can also jump on a video call at any point and meet face-to-face to discuss any of your design needs or throughts.
